A visit from dear friends!
Amy and Regan Evans came to see us this week from Kansas City. We got to spend 2 and a half days together. We had fun going roller skating at Classic skating, partying with the Kansas/Utah clan at Ethan’s missionary farewell, going out to eat, going to the Children’s Museum at the Gateway and playing at the park. Happy Spring!
It’s been a beautiful week! The weather couldn’t be better. 70’s and loving every minute of it. They’ve made awesome progress this week on the house. Rain is in the forecast later this week, hopefully they’ll continue to get a lot done. It makes me smile to watch it go up day by day. I can sort of visualize the space now and it’s starting to make more...
First day of framing!
We’ll technically, the second day. They began on Friday putting the plate on the top of the foundation. But today, actual walls began to take shape. I love this part. Since I’m such a non-visualizer, I need to see the space for myself. In a couple of weeks, hopefully, we can walk through the house! Easter Weekend
We had a fun filled Easter weekend with the kids. This was the end of a great week off of school for Spring Break. Saturday, Granny and Gramps Bishop held a big party for the family. We had a great lunch and played three fun games. Drop the Duck, which was like Duck, Duck Goose, then we hunted for Easter eggs outside.
